                                                                   Blessed Easter

                               A beautiful tulip stamp featured in the new Occasions  booklet.

I wanted to use this stamp for spring cards but didn't want the outside to say " Wishes for a Blessed Easter "  So I took an Exacto knife and cut the words away so that I could use them or not use them on the card front.  Since, this stamp only comes with a wooden block I didn't mount it.  I attached the image sheet to the rubber and put a small amount of Tombow adhesive so that the rubber would adhere to an acrylic block,

                                  This allowed me to use the words on the inside of the card.

The tulips were stamped with Stazon and colored with a blender pen.  Then I covered the tulip with Crystal Effects which gives the tulips dimension and gloss.  The card base is Melon Mambo, layered with Pink Pirouette then an oval of Pear Pizzazz.  The tulips were colored with the same colors and a little yellow and Old Olive.

Wow, Barb! What a gorgeous card - LOVE the shading in the tulips and leaves. The Crystal Effects was the perfect touch for the glossy dimension. Very easy to read your blog post. GREAT JOB! hugs, de {Creative Smiles}
