Flower Patch

Our summer has started early here in Florida.  Yellow flowers seem to do the best in our summer heat.  The two cards shown are changed by their size.  The card on the left is an A2 see card, meaning that it measures 41/4 X 51/2 inches.

The card on the right is
6 X 3 inches.  You can
get four  cards out of a
a 12 X 12 inch piece
of card stock.  Scoring
the 6 X 6 piece of card-
stock at three inches.

The card is using the Flower Patch 19 piece
photopolymer stamp set
#134207.  The saying
" Happy Blooming
Birthday" is on the front
of the A2 card and the
sentiment on the 6 X 3
card.  The card base is
Island Indigo. The flowers are stamped in
Daffodil Yellow and the
center is stamped in Hello Honey.  Fussy cutting the flowers makes for an eye catching edge.  The rhinestones were colored with Sharpie yellow marker.

I'm very happy that this stamp set has been carried forward to the 2015-2016 Stampin'Up catalog.  This stamp set also coordinates with the Flower Fair Framelits found on page 172.

Enjoy this great stamp set.  There are several flowers and matching leaves to make great cards for a lot of different occasions.
