The dolls above are two more punch art. It has been fun creating each of them. While making them I have found out that the color of dress for the Kokeshi represent
the ladies marital status. Blue/white/ grey and monotones of blue/white or grey/silver represent married women. Reds, pinks, whites are "pretty" colors and represent spring,happiness, young girls and single ladies ( looking for a husband )m Red and pink fl orals are attractive to men.
Since color is so very important to all of us and each one of us has their own favorites it is no wonder that Stampin'Up has come up with six new In Colors each of the last three years. In less than 30 days a fond farewell will go out to pink pirouette, baja breeze, pacific point, tangerine tango, riding hood red and kiwi kiss. If you purchased any of those color ink pads you might want to check and make sure you have the reinkers. After June 30th they will be no longer available and there will be six new In Colors.
