The Wedding Month

June has always been known as the
wedding month.  I want to share
a beautiful card that is simple and
elegant. This card can be used for
a wedding or anniversary.  The card
is made with very vanilla card stock
and a small piece of blushing bride
for the heart.  The birds are made with the Bird Builder punch.  You can find the bird and small heart on page 183 of the catalog.
The top and bottom of the card were created by running the vanilla card stock through the Big Shot twice using one of the Delicate Designs folder on page 190.  That folder was used on my previous 3X3 post.  This time the vanilla paper was sponged with the Blushing Bride stamp pad to allow the design to stand out more.  You can also see that the edges of the bird and wings were also sponged.  The polka dot background was also sponged.  It was created by using the Perfect Polka Dots folder found on page 191
Did you notice the birds eyes.  Those are our minature pearls that were made black using a black Sharpie.  You can color our  pearls with a permanent marker.

Wow! Talk about beautiful! I love the all-one-color cards and find them so difficult to make. Barb, yours looks amazing with the soft pink. So sweet with the darling die cut birds, and the very elegant embossed backgrounds and pearls. How EVER did you get those pearls placed so perfectly? Beautiful! hugs, de
