Giggle Greetings

This morning was dreary and rainy
something I'm not
use to here in Florida.
I have my weekly Monday class and had planned on doing two holiday cards but the warm dreary weather had me reaching for bright happy colors.  Thus, the daffodil delight and cherry cobbler was what I decided on for one of the cards.  I love this little set  because there is so much versatility to the stamps.  I cut the cherry bowl stamp apart so that I could easily separate the words from the cherries. I put the " sometimes life is just a bowl of cherries " and then the inside says " and sometimes it's the pits". I'm sure at sometime you would have been able to use this card and saying.   The bowl and fruit were stamped with Stazon and colored with our wonderful blender pens. I used our markers in daffodil yellow, smokey slate and cherry cobbler.  The
yellow brads are the Stampin'Up new Candy Dots that come in all of our color families.  The polka dot paper is from our Polka Dot Parade designer series paper which comes in 6 colors.  I used the 21/2 " circle and the 2 3/8" scallop circle punch for the cherries.  The two punches work very nicely together to give a nice edge to the bowl of fruit.
Happy Stamping

Ohhhhh! LOVE your watercolor technique here! I sure could use a lesson with that! Looks amazing. And I like the dots both on top and below - very pretty card, Miss Barb! hugs, de {Creative Smiles}
