Happy Mother's Day

To my fellow stampers, Happy Mother's Day !
The card shown was one made at my class at my home last Sunday. The look of the floating frame is much prettier in person. Sometimes photos can't capture the depth of an object.
The Designer Series Paper or DSP as I refer to it is Tea for Two.  This paper will be retire in two short weeks. The ribbon and frame are Calypso Coral.  The frame was made taking the large Apothecary Accents frame and the medium oval frame and placing them both on the Big Shot and cutting them together.  Then the flower oval was cut from the second from the smallest oval frame.
The paper piercing was done with a Stampin'Up paper piercing tool and mat using the Essential #126187 Paper Piercing Pack.  This 7.95 pack gives you a lot of piercing details to use.  Paper piercing gives a different dimension to paper and cards.

The flower was done using our markers on  the flower stamp from Oh, Hello which is in the Spring mini and will be available in the new catalog.

Happy Mother's Day is one of the 24 stamps from Teeny Tiny Wishes.  All of the stamps fit inside the Word. Window Punch for easy stamping.

Happy Stamping

Hi, Barbara! I was delighted to see your name pop up in my Blog Reader this afternoon! I have missed your artwork. This is such a pretty card. Love the floating frame. Coincidentally, I made my first one yesterday, but it does not look anywhere near as pretty as yours. Mine is not popped up enough, I think. Love your colors and the ribbon, too! I can hear the happy chatter and laughing now from the class.
hugs,
